DIPNECH problem is a clinicopathological problem whereas focal NECH is a pathological diagnosis that is usually made incidentally on histological evaluation and is encountered in a number of options, including in resected carcinoid tumors, within the framework of reactive changes concomitant with disease, in metastatic cancer tumors, radiation pneumonitis, intra-lobar sequestration, cigarette smokers, interstitial lung disease, and lung adenocarcinoma. There aren’t any proven treatments for DIPNECH syndrome.
